Yet, as fate would have it, he becomes her savior from a Death Worm attack and a kidnapping attempt orchestrated by humans who seek to capture Argon females. As their paths intertwine, an unexpected romance blooms amidst the shifting sands.

Five creatures with blue scales, enormous bat-like wings, and eagle-like feet soared above the sky, circling a gigantic oasis surrounded by houses made of earth and cactus roots. The creatures, each approximately 250 centimeters in size, emitted angry shrieks at ten white-robed men who looked up to meet their gaze.
One of the white-robed men stepped forward. He was the bulkiest, his massive frame casting a shadow. His long earrings reflected the sunlight. His golden-yellow eyes gleamed as he observed one of the creatures. He took a deep breath and yelled, “Argon, surrender and join us!”
Two girls walked by, carrying rattan trays filled with boiled cactus fruits. They bowed respectfully to Al’ Kaar before stealing a secretive view of his naked body and giggling.
Al’ Kaar felt embarrassed. He involuntarily scratched his neck, which wasn’t itchy, as he stepped into the building across from him. Perhaps I should have gone home first and gotten my robe.
He felt the next subtle vibration from behind. Al’ Kaar turned around and saw a wave-like movement approaching them.
Al’ Kaar held his breath. His yellow eyes gleamed while pulling his weapon, kusarigama. Its chain was attached to the sharp sword hanging at his waist.
A mild tremor accompanied the appearance of a creature resembling a giant worm, five times larger than his, with a head-mouth emerging from under the sand, launching itself at Al’ Kaar.
The distance grew shorter. Al’ Kaar stood in front of the cloth door, looking surprised. He saw a female argon trying to open a box inside his tent.
The girl was a wild argon as she uncovered her body with anything. Al’ Kaar’s jaw dropped as he gulped down. He hadn’t seen the smooth skin of a female argon in a long time. The women in the settlement had learned the concept of modesty, but not the one before him.
